Free Course: Discover Woodland Learning

Enjoy the therapeutic benefits of learning in the outdoors whilst gaining practical skills using tools, undertaking conservation activities, identifying species and wildlife monitoring to enhance your knowledge and experience for further learning or employment. You will work towards a Forest and Outdoor Learning SCQF Level 4 Award.

  • No prior qualifications necessary
  • Anyone interested in learning outdoors and looking for further learning or employment in the
    outdoor, environmental sector
  • Anyone accepted onto or considering the NC Rural Skills course at Newbattle Abbey
    College for 2025-26
  • Age 16+
  • Senior phase school pupils
  • Adults looking to upskill or reskill
