FOREST AND OUTDOOR LEARNING AWARD Leadership Level 8

Forest School and Outdoor Leadership is a course at SCQF (Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework) Level 8.

This course is about working in the forest and outdoor environment  to gain leadership skills and to lead outdoor learning as well as becoming a fully qualified practitioner.

COURSE CONTENT

  • Forest school ethos and practice
  • Application of learning theories and holistic development in outdoor learning
  • Practical outdoor skills, using tools, woodcraft, site surveys, species identification, campfire cooking and woodland management
  • Leading and managing outdoor learning and forest school sessions

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Students must be available for all the taught elements of the course.

The cost for the course is £1296 with an additional £150 for the First Aid Course.
